Suriya Sivakumar before getting into the industry
Suriya was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. But his hometown is Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
He completed his schooling till 12th class in The PSBB Millennium School, Coimbatore and St.Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai.
Suriya Sivakumar is a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai, India.
After his graduation, he was employed in a garment exports factory. Suriya hid his identity while working there. He did not introduce himself as Sivakumar’s son. Later, the fact came into the light of his manager.
Consequently, he was given a chance to work in a film Aasai in 1995.
He denied it as he had no interest in the field. However, after a while, he debuted with the film Nerrukku Ner in the year 1997.
