Vijay Sethupathi before getting into the industry
Vijay Sethupathi was born in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, India. But his hometown is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
He completed his schooling till 12th class in MGR Higher Secondary School, Kodambakkam, Chennai and Little Angels Mat HR Sec School. Vijay is a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce from Dhanraj Baid Jain College, Chennai, India.
After his education, he had the responsibility of taking care of his family. Therefore, he did many jobs for survival. Consequently, he moved to Dubai to earn more, he worked as an accountant there.
But, as he was unsatisfied with the job, he came back to India. Eventually, he got into a theatre group as an accountant. As a result, he could watch actors in a zoom-in view. He never had a goal of becoming an actor. But, we all know how brilliant he is as an actor.
Later, he played as a background actor and worked in short films. His debut film as the main lead actor was Thenmerku Paruvakaatru in 2010, directed by Seenu Ramaswamy. That was his real career starting point.
He also played as an antagonist in Sundarapandian. The variation in his characters is one of the main reasons for the huge fan base.
