He has won Filmfare Awards for Parugu, Vedam, Race Gurram, Rudramadevi and Sarrainodu under the category of Best actor.
Parugu which was released in 2008 and Rudramadevi released in 2015 both have backed Nandi special Jury Award.
In 2004,he received Nandi Special Jury Award for the movie Arya.
In 2016, his movie Rudramadevi has won International Indian Film Academy Awards.(IIFA) for best performance in a supporting role-male.
