    Rebel Star Prabhas has achieved a pan-Indian fan following owing to the success of the Baahubali series. Both the Baahubali films are all-time blockbusters with the first one earning 650 crores.

    The second one earned more than 1800 crores worldwide with approximately 1400-1500 crores in India only. Although his subsequent film Saaho turned out to be a misfire at the box office his craze and demand in the pan-Indian market is still pretty much evident.

    New Project of Prabhas Upcoming Movie Jaan:

    Vyjayanthi Movies headed by veteran producer C. Ashwini Dutt recently announced that his company would be completing 50 years since its inception in the year 1974.

    On this auspicious occasion, Ashwini Dutt announced that he would be producing Prabhas’s 21st Project. The film would have a huge budget of approximately 250-300 crores and would be directed by his son-in-law Nag Ashwin.

    Nag Ashwin has directed films Yevade Subramanyam and the National Award Winning Mahanati which was a biopic on legendary actress Savitri. While Yevade Subramanyam was produced under the Swapna Cinema banner, Mahanati was produced under the Vyjayanthi banner. 

    Background of Prabhas Upcoming Moive :

    Vyjayanthi Movies has produced a stellar line of films in the past. Starting their lineup with “O Seeta Katha” the production house has produced successful films like Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Choodalani Vundi, Azad, Indra-The Tiger, Kantri, Mahanati, Devadas, and Maharishi.

    Besides this, it has also produced the debut films of Superstars Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan namely Rajakumarudu, Gangotri and Chirutha respectively.

    It also co-produced Student No. 1 which was the breakout hit for star Jr. NTR and the debut of maverick director S.S. Rajamouli. It has also backed small-medium budget films through the Three Angels Studio and Swapna Cinema banner respectively. 

    Details about the Prabhas Upcoming Movie Jaan:

    There are various rumors according to fans regarding the plot and the concept of the film. The film is touted to be a big-budget science fiction superhero film that would have elements of fantasy and time travel concept.

    It would have great sets, a stellar supporting cast, and a strong technical crew. Although no one is signed officially except Prabhas, talks are going on that Deepika Padukone may feature alongside him as she is pretty interested in the script of the film.

    Besides this, It is reported that Prabhas has charged a whopping 120 crore remuneration for the project. Ashwini Dutt has ensured that 60% of the profits of the project would go to Prabhas.

    The pre-production work of the film has already started and the film would go on floors during Diwali. The makers are planning to have a pan-Indian release and are scouting for a festival date in 2021. 

    Next Project and Rumours of Movie Jaan:

    Currently, Prabhas is shooting for his next temporarily titled Jaan which is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. He has directed Jil which starred Gopichand and Raashi Khanna in lead roles.

    Jil revolved around a fire officer who unknowingly gets entangled with a gangster and how he manages to defeat him. The film was a hit and was a much-needed boost in Gopichand’s career. Coming back to his next the film stars Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.

    Veteran actress Bhagyashree will also have a crucial role in the film. The romantic action drama is slated to release during the Gandhi Jayanti, Dusshera Festivities this year.

    The film is produced by UV Creations which also backed Prabhas’s last release Saaho. 

    After Prabhas completes his film with Nag Ashwin it is rumored that he will star in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has directed the box office smash Arjun Reddy and its Bollywood remake Kabir Singh as well.

    Earlier he approached Ranbir Kapoor for the script but reportedly he turned down the offer. After that, he approached Prabhas for the script and he has given his nod for the project. Although this is a rumor there is a chance of collaboration between them.
