Jayam Ravi before getting into the industry
Jayam Ravi was born in Thirumangalam, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. His hometown is also the same. He currently stays in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
He completed his schooling till 12th in Jawahar Vidyalaya, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Jayam Ravi is a graduate of Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
His father being a director, a little filmy background, it was easy for him to pursue his interest to get into the film industry. He is a hard worker, who went to Kishore Namit Kapur Institute for acting in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
He worked as an assistant director initially for Aalavandhan (2001) starring Kamal Hassan.
Later, he grabbed an opportunity to do a film named Jayam, an action thriller. It was his debut Kollywood film as the main lead actor, which was released in 2003.
Later, he came up with many movies. He is all-time hit films. He won the hearts of south Indians with his amazing acting.
He also did two Telugu language films as a child artist, his father was the producer of those films.
